Siscia Mint

Siscia, Pannonia (Sisak, Croatia)
Instituted as new principal mint in 259 under Gallienus with former principal Lugdunum Mint now under Postumus. Siscia, initially with 7 offices, minted high volumes of bronze together with silver and gold coinage for the Danube frontier, Last remaining office was closed under Honorius in perhaps 410.
