Thrace, Thasos AE 20 mm. 8.5 gm. Circa 2nd-1st centuries BC. Obv: Diademed and draped bust of Artemis, right; bow and quiver over left shoulder. Rev: ΘΑΣΙΩΝ at right, Aω. Herakles standing right, drawing bow about to shoot an arrow, lion’s skin tied around neck and falling over his shoulders; ΩΦZ monogram (Φ sideways) in right field. Possibly unpublished monogram.
