Central Italy (c. 4th-3rd Centuries BC), Æ knucklebone, 28 mm. 26.6 gm. Sometimes found with early aes rude and currency bars (cf. Vecchi, ICC p.76, 6). Knucklebones were used as game pieces and their symbols are often depicted on ancient coins.
