Uncertain. Uniface silver plaque, 19 mm. 1.3 gm, circa 1st-2nd centuries. Obv: Herakles walking right, holding club upright in his right hand and carrying the slain Erymanthian Boar on his left shoulder. Rev. Blank. A rare and exceptionally well engraved piece of art. This uniface silver plaquette may have adorned a pendant, amulet or other item. It depicts a beautifully detailed image of Herakles’ Fourth Labor, the capture of the Erymanthian Boar, whom Hercules carries on his shoulders.
