Matidia (Augusta, AD 112-119). Ar Denarius. 20 mm. 3.0 gm. Rome. Obv: MATIDIA AVG DIVAE MARCIANAE F. Diademed and draped bust right. Rev: PIETAS AVG. Pietas, veiled, standing left, sacrificing over garlanded altar. Woytek 727; RIC 758 (R3). Very Rare. Salonina Matidia was the niece of Trajan (daughter if his sister Marciana) and mother of the empress Sabina.
